This may come as a shock to many of you (or none of you), but Betty B has not always sported such a long, full and volumized (I'm clearly very much in the know of hair care terms) tress of hair. Yes, it is true. I once (well for 85% of my life) had a little bit of a different style. To be honest, it wasn't exactly the best style decision that I have made. We have come a very long way. It actually started before I really had a choice (Mom- do not be offended. I liked it back then. I should have prolly moved onto the longer hair sooner than I did..My decision..). It was actually cute when I was a tiny tot. In the adult years-not so much. Plus I was constantly reminded while babysitting or what not when idiot box kids would ask if I was girl or boy. Yeah. It was real fun. I think I may still be a bit traumatized, but I'm working on it. I have decided to take you on a lil journey of the evolution of Betty B's hair. You can evacuate now if you'd like, but something tells me that you would like to be on this lil jaunt down memory lane. This journey is somewhat limited because I do not have a lot of my childhood pics. They are at the Sass compound. So here goes.
We shall start with childhood (it was still cute @ this time)
A little older (getting less cute)
When I should have known better...
Now it's just an all out bad decision...
Then there's the in-between, which can be just as painful as the short... This may have been my most least favorite time...Yes. Definitely.
(I tried to mask it with headbands..)
Then FINALLY, we made it to the full pony tail...Thank goodness. We are not going back.. We have come a long, long way people. Word. I'm just going to take a moment...
If you made it this far...YOU ARE A TROOPER!!
The reason I am bringing all of this up is because I have been having an inner dilemna. Never good. It is time for a hair cut. I have been hesitant because I never know what to do. Do we trim and try to grow it longer? Or do we take a risk and go for the cut??? We shall know soon enough my friends. I can tell you-we will not be revisiting the boy hair cut days.
Hairs to a good night (hahaha),
Betty
Get rid of the dead ends, but keep the length!
