Taylor Swift Ain't The Only One

She may have made gobs of money and gotten many cute lil boyfriends, but T. Swift isn't the only fearless chica out there.  There are about 300 more right behind her.  Seriously. I can not begin to tell you how shweet this past weekend was.  I sometimes get emotional, tired, over stimulated and sick of women after a typical womens weekend.  This time I am feeling good.  Excited.  Joyous if you will.  The theme was FEARLESS.  At first, I wasn't too excited about it. Sorry. There is my confession.  I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised.  I will give you a few highlights.
-The hotel. I loved it.  So nice and clean.  The beds are so dang comfortable.  If only I could have spent a lil more time lounging around.
-Thursday night.  Every year some of us go down early.  To do important things.  Like eat.  And drink.  And sit around talking laughing.
-I shared a bed.  Yes.  It was a miracle.  Each party survived. It as actually a pleasant sleep if I do say so myself.
-I made new friends.  Or at least one.
-The speaker. She was awesome.  And real.
-People.  I had such a good time spending time with people.  I'm excited to say that the Lord surprised me big time with people.  It was awesome.  (Yachtzee....)
-My roommate rocked.
-The skit/Cardboard testimonies.  I know I am biased bc I was in the skit, but it was way better than I even imagined.  I was so worried that people wouldn't go forward with their fears.  I was shocked when I turned around and the line wrapped all the way around the room.  Holy Cow!!  It was so moving.  I even teared up. I even wrote one of my fears on there:)
-Saturday conversations.  There were many.  They were funny, scary, short, long, hilarious, emotional, and I laughed a lot.

So there you have it.  I really can't do it justice.  It was awesome.  I have to admit that I was even a temporary hand raiser.  Yes its true. Crazy.  I can't believe it either.  I'll be honest. I even liked it.  That could be my most favorite part of the weekend.  That sounds weird I know, but guess what?  It's true.  I don't know how often the ol hands will come out of the pockets in the future, but they did come out a little this weekend.  It was awesome.  Stinks for you if you weren't there.

CHAS COKER YOU LOSE.  JUST IN CASE YOU WEREN'T SURE.  ALYSE AND I WHOOPED YOU.  RUN AND TELL THAT! HOMEBOY.
